    Automotive Parts Development Assessment

  • Test Method

Automobiles, which mostly consists of mechanical parts, are facing the paradigm of "safe autonomous driving" and are evolving into smart electronics. As electronic components and software are involved in driving, 'component reliability' and 'function stability' are becoming important. The most basic method of ensuring reliability of semiconductors (Part Leaves) uses the AEC-Q series established by the Automotive Electronics Council, which consists mainly of GM, Chrysler, and Ford. Reliability assessments at the system level are mostly established with OEM in-house standards, and are evaluated separately according to defective mechanisms or the environment in which the parts are installed.
