Introduction
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) is a common phenomenon that can be easily seen especially during dry winter months, and is a major cause of failure in semiconductors and electronic components.
HBM(Human Body Model) : A test method that models the electrostatic discharge that occurs when a person who has accumulated charge due to human body friction and contact contacts a conductor with a low potential difference.
MM(Machine Model) : This test method models the electrostatic discharge phenomenon that occurs when charges (charged) accumulated in metal objects such as equipment and machinery in the manufacturing process come into contact with conductors with low potential differences.
