Highly Accelerated Life Test
Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT) is a method that repeatedly induces the failure of a product by applying stress for a very short time (3 to 5 days) in order to analyse the cause of the failures and provide improvements. It is a useful test for quickly identifying vulnerabilities during the product development phase.

Testing Procedures [Applied Spec : ES90000-05]
- Low Temperature Step Stress Test
- The purpose of this test is to improve the product by detecting the product's lower operating limit (LOL),
lower destruction limit (LDL), and its abnormalities and characteristic changes under low temperature stress.
- High Temperature Step Stress Test
- The purpose of this test is to improve the product by detecting the product's upper operating limit (UOL),
upper destruction limit (UDL), and its abnormalities and characteristic changes under high temperature stress.
- Rapid Thermal Transition Test
- The amplifier's maximum linear output of 1dB gain compression point and
the accumulated power of P3dB can be measured more accurately by running the automatic control program.
- Noise Figure
- Noise Index (NF) is an indicator of how much noise has been added as
a signal passes through a system or circuit block. High-performance instruments are used for more accurate testing.
